About Sagebrush

The Sagebrush Collaborative began in October 2022 as a small, inclusive art market, quickly growing from a shelf in Trailside Bakery to its own storefront. After the bakery’s closure in early 2024, community support helped Sagebrush relocate to a temporary small storefront in SE Boise.

In 2025, we moved into our dream space in Hyde Park at 1609 13th St, sharing a location with Pine and Needle Tattoo Collective. Our accessible gift shop features handmade goods from Mountain West, Pacific Northwest, and Southwest artists, with a monthly Night Market that runs March-November on the last Thursday of each month.

Sagebrush carries the work from almost 100 artists throughout the Mountain West, with a focus on high quality, sustainable goods. Sagebrush often hosts fundraisers such as “Art as Resistance” that raised over $1,500 for the Idaho Sierra Club, an “ICE OUT” fundraiser that raised over $1,000 for PODER of Idaho, and hosts countless non-profits at their markets and events.

We also host a large annual winter holiday show at the Linen Building in Downtown Boise, the first Sunday in December.

In 2024, Sagebrush won Best of Boise for Best Boutique.

Jess Wagner, founder and sole owner of Sagebrush, is a 30-year-old fine artist based in Boise, Idaho. Passionate about artist collectives and vendor shows, she also sells her own art under the name Stay Soft Press, specializing in printmaking. Living in Boise’s North End with her partner and deaf cattle dog, Tanana, and two cats Cardamom and Pinyon, Jess spends her free time hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, and exploring coffee shops and thrift stores.
